Death is something that we usually avoid. We often prefer not to even talk about it. But what if, instead of seeking to avoid death, we became more intentional about engaging with death? I’m not talking about literally trying to end our lives! But if death is inevitable, and if it is an integral part of the process of life, death, and rebirth, then perhaps there is something to be said for befriending death? That’s what we’ll be talking about today.

What is your response to the idea of befriending death? Of intentionally engaging the process of death in your life? I’d love to hear your thoughts, experiences and stories.
